Privacy Policy
Short version: Not Yet has no accounts, no analytics and no servers. Your site list, settings and statistics stay on your device. The extension reads the current page domain only to decide whether to show the pause, and it never sends that information anywhere.
What the extension accesses
To provide its single purpose, Not Yet reads the domain and URL of the page you are navigating to. This is processed locally on your device, only to check whether the domain is on your personal pause list and to apply the optional Uglify filter.
The extension does not store a browsing history, page titles or visit timestamps, and it never transmits this information anywhere.
What is stored on your device
The extension stores the following in chrome.storage.local:
- the list of domains you add;
- your wait time, blocking-hours window, language and enabled state;
- aggregate counters of how many times the pause appeared and how many times a site was opened.
It also uses chrome.storage.session for short-lived per-tab
grants that prevent redirect loops after a countdown. All of this data stays
on your device.
What is not collected
Not Yet does not collect or transmit personally identifiable information, health information, financial or payment information, authentication information, personal communications, location data, user activity (such as clicks, scrolling or keystrokes), or website content.
The extension does not use analytics, advertising, tracking pixels or remote code.
Sharing
We do not sell, rent or transfer user data to third parties. No data is sent to the developer or to any external server.
Retention and deletion
Your settings and site list remain on your device until you change them or remove the extension. Usage counters can be cleared at any time from the extension's statistics panel. Removing the extension deletes its locally stored data.
Limited Use
Not Yet's use of information is limited to providing its single purpose: pausing before user-listed sites and applying the optional Uglify filter. The extension does not use or transfer data for advertising, profiling, creditworthiness or any unrelated purpose.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the effective date above will be updated. Continued use of the extension after an update means you accept the revised policy.
